Abhaya is an organization located in Kerala, India. It began as an advocacy group against the terrible conditions and treatment facing mental patients in psychiatric wards in Kerala. Over the years it has evolved into a service center and halfway house for mental patients, destitute women and children, and recovering substance abusers.
